Non-programmable
Standalone analog architecture without firmware or software dependencies.
BRAKE SYSTEM PLAUSIBILITY DEVICE
Analog. Non-programmable. Designed for Formula Student combustion and combustion-hybrid vehicles in the European market.
DESIGNED AROUND THE REQUIREMENTS
Standalone analog architecture without firmware or software dependencies.
Monitors brake pressure and throttle position as the key input conditions.
Implements the required plausibility persistence and reset behaviour.
Designed with filtering, hysteresis and input protection for a demanding environment.
PCB supplied assembled together with the connector and terminal hardware needed for installation. Current validation has been performed on a combustion vehicle.
VALIDATED ON REAL HARDWARE
Functional testing was performed on the manufactured PCB using controlled sensor-signal pulses and direct output verification.
THE PRODUCT
The BSPD Systems unit is supplied as an assembled PCB, with the electronic components already fitted and soldered. The kit also includes the connector and terminal hardware required for implementation.
Components installed and soldered.
Connector and terminal kit for implementation.
Packaging is intentionally not included.
TECHNICAL OVERVIEW
Detailed circuit architecture, component values, PCB files and manufacturing data are not publicly disclosed.
EUROPEAN FORMULA STUDENT
Current validation covers combustion vehicles. Combustion-hybrid vehicles are grouped under the CV class in the FSG 2026 rules; electric vehicles require a different BSPD trigger condition and are therefore not covered by this product version.
